Joshua Tree Boho Wedding | Kylie + Korbin

November 13, 2021

Kylie’s and Korbin’s wedding was pretty much the Pinterest perfect wedding. I shot it as a second shooter and under the mentoring of the insanely talented Nicole Kirshner, and it was so much fun!

This wedding was all about the details. The boho florals, the boots she got married in, the groom’s terracota suit, the vendors such as the van photo booth (the malibooth), and all the fun props for the party like the LED cowboy hats and the confetti cannons. If I’ve learned anything as a wedding photographer, it’s that it’s all in the details.

This wedding is also the sign you’ve been waiting for if you’ve been considering different color bridesmaid dresses. Different hues of terracota and complimentary colors made the bridesmaids look bomb!

You’re probably wondering where this beautiful venue is! The wedding took place at the Roaming Travelers in Joshua Tree, which is owned by the coolest nicest couple. Keep in mind, this is not inside Joshua Tree National Park, as you can’t have a wedding with guests like this one in a National Park. BUT, it feels like you’re inside the park. Your pictures will definitely show that you’re in Joshua Tree. Adding to that, Joshua Tree is full of incredible airbnbs where you can get ready with your bridal party and keep the party going afterwards.

It should go without saying, but if you’re getting married in Joshua Tree, you’re a badass babe that doesn’t mind getting dirty. Your shoes will be brown by the end of the day, you’ll be a little dusty, but it is all part of the experience! Kylie embraced this the entire day, she could care less about her dress getting dirty, she was the most relaxed bride just going with the flow. She also broke tradition in many ways, and I’m here for it! They did a first look before the ceremony, which allows for a more intimate time with your future hubby, and which also has the perk of allowing more time for couple and bridal party photos. It’s a win-win move if you’re ready to break some rules ;)
